Meet the Founder
Samadu Okocha Awudu
Born in Accra, Ghana, Samadu “Oko” Okocha Awudu chased a dream from the streets to professional football in Europe after being scouted at fifteen.
His playing career spanned Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Thailand, and Israel, earning him the ultimate honor of representing Ghana’s national team. Along the way, elite coaches and tough challenges taught him the value of resilience, discipline, and mentorship.
Today, as Founder and Technical Director, Oko channels those global lessons into guiding young athletes, dedicated to developing not just skilled footballers, but confident, grounded individuals ready for life.
Why I created OSA
Samadu Awudu Okocha founded the Okocha Soccer Academy (OSA) driven by a profound personal mission: to provide young players with the elite, nurturing environment he firmly believes every aspiring athlete deserves.

Drawing from his professional journey across international leagues, he built OSA to be a space where young talents master technical skills, deepen their tactical understanding, build unbreakable confidence, and embrace discipline. It is an environment where players are encouraged to make mistakes, learn from them, and grow both as exceptional competitors and well-rounded individuals.
